Q: How do I wear it?

A: Most people wear it on a neck chain (gold, silver, silk etc.) either inside or outside of clothing. You can also conveniently wear it in your pocket, but please use the protective pouch provided to avoid coins and keys that may chip the crystal. It may also be worn inside a bra, waistband or on an anklet or belly chain The pendant works when close to or in contact with a person. Having it on a desk nearby or in a purse is not sufficient.

Q: Will magnets or other jewelry items affect it?

A: Normal sunlight, moonlight, the ocean, swimming pools, soaps, lotions, chemical vapors, body oils, sweat, strong magnets, outdoor heat, humidity or cold, crosses or other jewelry items will not harm or alter the effectiveness of the pendant. Excessive and intense exposure to strong sunlight or heat may lighten the color of the faceted gems. Excessive exposure to water may weaken the faceted gem contact support.

Q: How long will my Sunphire last?

A: Sunphire yoga jewelry is designed to be permanent and to last a lifetime. Treat the pendant like any fine piece of jewelry. The quartz and gem may be cleaned with mild soap, water rinsed and dried with a soft cotton cloth. We recommend polishing the sterling silver with the natural product "Bon Ami" available at health food stores. Over the counter silver polish may also be used. In the unlikely event the faceted gem comes of the quartz, it may be resecured with 2 component epoxy available at Home Depot. Do not use super glue. The Sunphire will not function properly without the accent gem...do not wear it until repaired.
